Sales Order Administrator


We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Order Administrator to oversee the sales order lifecycle from the receipt of a customer’s purchase order to delivery and billing. This position acts as a liaison between our distribution center, sales team, finance and customers.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Manage on a daily basis the complete order lifecycle for the company’s key customer from the receipt of a customer’s purchase order to delivery/installation and billing.
  • Ensure orders are processed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal teams (sales, finance, etc.) to facilitate sales processes, provide input on nonstandard orders, and help resolve billing issues as they arise.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in relation to order management and processing (build workflow, create process documentation, assist with development of systems requirements and perform systems testing).
  • Process intercompany PO's and invoices, process adoption agreements.
  • Assist service and the product line with processing of customer returns (RMA).
  • Act as subject matter expert on all aspects of order entry – PO requirements, revenue, shipping, approvals, intercompany PO’s and invoicing, contracts, etc.
  • Investigate and resolve all order related issues and customer requests.
  • Proactive communicator, face to the customer provide outstanding customer service.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
  • A high school diploma is required; Associates degree in business-related field is preferred.
  • 3 years of professional experience in Sales Order Administration and/or Order Management required.
  • Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) ERP & Accounting software is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with complex order processes and invoicing for hardware, services and software.
  • Ability to manage high volume of transactions with nonstandard terms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy and ease around systems, proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and a strong customer service attitude.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, follow-up and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and team player with a high level of dedication.
